Vega is a tattoo artist in her thirties who started tattooing as an apprentice in 2014. During her ten year journey as a tattooer she has done various kinds of tattoos, most of them in Helsinki. She has also done guest spots around Finland and other parts of Europe.

Vega finds tattooing especially delightful when doing a piece that has somekind of a positive impact to their carrier’s life. It can be a decoration, covering up an older disliked tattoo or doing a piece that reminds of belonging into a community. In addition to this, she wants to pay attention that the tattoos she makes will stand the test of time.

The tattoo process with Vega includes active listening of the client, as it is one of our studio’s core values, starting from the planning of the tattoo.

Different kinds of nature, history, folk art, and ornament subjects are in her comfort zone. Vega is interested in the history of tattooing and tattooing designs based on classic westerner tattoo motifs. Some of her other interests in addition to tattooing are painting, activism, handicrafts, cooking and renovation.
